Enthusiastic chef looking for a catering position on an oil rig
Hi there, my name is Sue and i am very interested in work on board an oil rig, within the catering sector. Working away from home is not a problem for me as i have been doing that for the past twenty years in the tv/film location catering industry. Work within the tv catering industry is very fast paced cooking for the average crew of 80 to more than 300, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea then packing up and moving location to set up ready for the next day. Locations vary, from a car park, to being parked in a field or having to drive a seven and half ton kitchen across a walkway to St Michael's Mount. We cook in all kinds of weather, sunshine to wind and rain to freezing conditions, and we strive to get the food out on time, and that is so satisfying.
I feel i have the relevant experience to gaining work on an oil rig as i have a love for cooking, stamina and like nothing better than doing a hard days work. I look forward to your reply. Kind regards. Susan Humphreys
