First Female Campboss

I started as a trainee chef on one of Maersks Oil rigs in the North sea in the 1990's.

In the late 90's I entered the last class for maritime cooks and after 10 weeks on school I was educated chef.
Maersk hired me as a chef to their oil rigs again in the North Sea. Shortly after I was promoted to be the first female camp boss on a oil rig.

I spend 5½ year in the offshore, on rigs and production platforms and on supply boats.

I don't think this was harder than have I done the same education on shore, I never had any problems being a woman in the offshore.
