marine engineer wanting to switch to oil rigs

i am a marine engineer with one and a half year experience. I am currently working on a container carrier as a 4th engineer. My contract would be finishing around december this year.

I am very intrested in knowing if there is any direct job positions avilable for marine engineers coming from vessels. What i mean is is there any related job openings that i can directly join into?

I am currently earning nearly 30k per year. I do not mind a dip in my salary initially. but what would the average pay for engineers be like?

I am also living in singapore, will this be an advantage for me when i start lookimg for job on oil rigs?
