Middle age starting over

I am 42 years old and have been in the construction business since I was 14. I have been every thing from a general labour, framer, trim carpenter, contractor sales, large project manager and superintendent, all the way to owning my own custom home and development business. I lost every thing with the housing market crash.

I am in very good physical health and enjoy working with my hands as well as my mind. I am looking to begin a career in the Off shore industry. What company and what positions would I be best suited for. Is there away to apply in a generic type fashion. I just need a little direction. Thank you for your time.
