About Noble Drilling

All About Noble Drilling. Noble is one of the leading and most reputable offshore drilling contractors, with over 62 offshore drilling units (and this includes five drilling rigs currently under construction).

They are located worldwide in the Middle East, India, the U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GOM), Mexico, the North Sea, Brazil, and West Africa. I have a few friends in the company and there are some great opportunities.

Noble Corporation celebrates i s 90th anniversary in 2011. Very few drilling contractors have reached this milestone. The Company management has taken it from a one rig operation in 1921 to one of the largest offshore drilling contractors in the world today.

Noble offers very good offshore career opportunities to work with a diverse rig crew and state of the art drilling equipment on the modern offshore drilling rigs in the world.

All rig positions are either 14 days working and 14 days off for domestic US positions; or 28 days working with 28 days off for international positions.

They have a fleet of drilling rigs that includes drill ships, semi submersible drill rigs, jackup drill rigs

I have included an image of one of their drilling ship below as I spent a few years on her when she was under a different name and company, so it brings back some memories

Be aware of “scams” whereby unauthorized individuals are using Noble's name and logo to solicit potential job-seekers for employment or to extend fraudulent job offers. Such scams are unfortunately very common and have targeted many companies around the world, including Noble. We are aware of some cases where job-seekers are being contacted directly, by phone and/or e-mail. In other instances, these unauthorized individuals may place advertisements for fake positions with both legitimate web sites and fabricated ones. These individuals typically promise high-paying jobs with the requirement that the job-seeker send money to pay for things such as visa applications or processing fees, or request personal banking information be sent by the applicant on a return e-mail.

Please be advised that Noble will never ask potential job-seekers for any sort of advance payment as part of the recruiting or hiring process, nor will it solicit personal banking information in an e-mail communication.

Do not pay anyone and do not pay or register for any scheme on any website that says they will help you find a job. You will never get a job this way. You can get your own jobs by approaching companies, there are agencies that supply people however they don’t charge either. Every company has different ways of having position candidates submit a Resume or CV, some are by email and other will only accept by registering on the website.

Do not respond or deal with any company who purports to be recruiting for Noble, you must go to them directly. Do not be misled with any person or company who uses a company logo or other trademark to legitimize their activities. In some cases job hunters are being contacted directly, by phone and e-mail. Do not be suckered in with these people. They typically offer high paying jobs and request that you send money to pay for visa applications and processing fees, or they may request your personal banking information. DO NOT DO THIS!

No offshore drilling company requests any type of advance payment as part of any recruiting or hiring process, and never will any ask for personal banking information in an e-mail communication. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
