Oil rig cook experince but not offshore experince.
I have cooked for oil rig crew for two years in the U.S. and would like to expound upon the experience with and offshore job. I know the long hours, the safety motto,and the hard work of a remote site cook. I would like to know about the training and certification it takes in order to qualify for an offshore job. Is it usual, for the companies that hire cooks, for training and certification to provided?
