Oil Rig Job Wanted

hi, just wanted to no wich is the best way to go about working in the offshore industry, i have no previous experience and i'm looking for the best way to go about it! i've worked in the car industry for the last ten years but would like a change, offshore work is something i have been looking at but dont no which way to go.

what jobs are in demand? i was thinking about doing a rigging course, but what do you recommend to people? i dont mind investing on certificates but i dont weant to waste money on courses that companies dont require or there are lack of opportunties, please could you give me the best guide of which sort of trade i should do and where i can get the courses, i live in england and i'm 35 years of age, any help would be greatly appreciated. jasekalyoncu@hotmail.com
