paramedic offshore job

I am a physician by profession I just want to know the requirments on how to become a paramedic, I have already completed my bosiet and gmdss trainings, with only 3 months experienced here in our country, beside very rarely do we have paramedic offshore jobs in our counrty so were do I get the additional experience necessary for the job.Do you prefer nurse or physician in this kind of job.
