Rig Electrician

Hello sir, I have two years in the Electrical trade, I love this field, I have thought for several years now about getting a job as an electrician on a rig. Can you tell me how to go about doing this? Are there classes I should take or attend before I embark with the resume I have. I just finished My Marine Corps MOS training as a Field Wireman, I am now in reserve status. I am seeking to further my knowledge, there is always something more to learn, I enjoy it. Could you give me any information as to how to start...I would be very grateful....there is no bs here and I ain't just chasin the dollar...I am down to earth person, that believes one might have to take a paycut for a while in order to gain the knowledge to help better yourself in the future.
