Roustabout/Roughneck Entry Level Jobs?

I am very interested in starting a new career working off shore i have read up on what is required about survival courses and medicals required. I want to know where to start about gaining an entry level position working off shore. I will give brief details about my working history i am a carpenter by trade and i am currently working in the construction industry, i worked for many years as a air systems technican, i have worked for Royal Mail and a crane company in Australia. I have a Resume and references that can be sent.
