Safety Officer Probability

by Brandon D
(Edmonton)

I'm currently certified in advanced first aid, H2S alive, and confined spaces, but i have limited experience in the oilfield industry. I'll be going for my EMR in april.High pressure and stressful situations are not a problem. I am presently employed by a metal coating/plating shop as a light build coater and on-site medic for the past year. I can fluently operate cranes and forklifts. How likely are my chances of landing a position with an offshore/aboard ship/ inland as their safety officer? What is the going wage for all three respectively? What other qualifications should i consider before applying?
