I have been working with major shipping lines in various capacities such as Export B/L & Documentation Executive, Manager Export Documentation, Manager Commercial Imports & Export and Manager Import with leading shipping companies. These companies include Anchor Shipping & Trading Private Limited, GAC Cargo Systems Private Limited, Pacific Delta Shipping Private Limited and United Marine Agencies Private Limited. During my stay with these companies I had the opportunity to work in the core functional areas of shipping / trading business in leadership positions. I am fully conversant with all the operations and relevant systems. In my roles, I was responsible for handling planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of staff performances as well as business performance of the department. Designing and Implementation of various policies and procedures were also part of my work. I had also been working as team member, in two of the companies, for the implementation of ISO Quality Systems and was fully involved in the execution till implementation of ISO standards.
